Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away is one of my favorite animes of all time. Such a beautiful movie.
I wanted to see if you could create No Face from scratch without any references. My original completed piece had no faces’ complete body, but for some reason although i feel that i finished creating him, as a MoS piece i didnt like the way it sat in the frame, so here is a different view of him.
In a strange way i feel that i relate no face. in the movie he is almost a speechless character that communicates only through grunts moans and giving gifts. Im not saying the i grunt and moan all day, but i feel that myself like no face has trouble with communicating with people, and tends to have the need to find acceptance through different means.
So here is my MoS representation of No Face. enjoy
